The unique and optimized design of the lightweight yet durable, composite-reinforced EPO fuselage improves low-speed handling, making it one of the easiest jets to fly! Skill Level 2 – The next step after a trainer – Some experience required

Experience Level 2 – The next step after a trainer aircraft. Models like this are ideal for RC pilots who have successfully learned to fly a trainer aircraft, as well as those who have the skills to assemble, set up, and fly similar models. Although it is one of the most controllable and easiest EDF (Electric Ducted Fan) models ever developed, it is not suitable for absolute beginners. You should already have the experience and skills to successfully fly a trainer aircraft such as the HobbyZone AeroScout 1.1m or the Carbon Cub 1.3m. Alternatively, models such as the E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.1m, Valiant 1.3m, Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m, or other models of this class would also be suitable before attempting the BNF Basic version of the Habu SS 50mm EDF.

The BNF Basic version of the Habu SS 50mm EDF comes equipped with a factory-installed Spektrum AR631+ receiver, featuring Spektrum's exclusive AS3X+ and SAFE Select technologies. The enhanced AS3X+ works in the background to more effectively compensate for the effects of wind and turbulence, resulting in an even smoother flight experience that feels like flying a much larger aircraft. The optional SAFE Select function offers pitch and roll limits, as well as automatic self-stabilization, which can be toggled on and off with a switch. If you prefer not to use the SAFE Select features, you can simply bind the receiver normally – in this case, only AS3X+ will be active.

Smart technology

The Habu SS 50mm EDF is equipped with an exclusive Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC, which provides a wealth of real-time telemetry data from the power system, including motor RPM, current, battery voltage, and more – with both Smart and non-Smart batteries. This data can be accessed in flight via compatible receivers (including the AR631+) and Spektrum AirWare-enabled transmitters (such as the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6 to NX20, iX12 to iX20, and others). Additionally, the ESC offers an optional motor/thrust reverse function, enabling special ground maneuvers and other features!

Smart Transmitter File

This BNF aircraft is equipped with a receiver that offers a Smart Transmitter File (STF) function, making programming your transmitter a breeze. Once you bind your transmitter to an STF-compatible aircraft, all programming parameters are automatically downloaded from the receiver – exactly as you want them. Switch assignments, rates, expo, telemetry, and voice outputs configure themselves. No lengthy step-by-step instructions. No constant adjustments. One simple push of a button and you'll be in the air faster!
