The Bandit HD XL-5 is a 1:10 scale 2WD electric buggy that arrives fully assembled and ready to race, complete with a Titan 12-turn 550 motor, XL-5 waterproof electronic speed control, a 7-cell 8.4V 3000 mAh NiMH battery, and a 4-amp USB-C charger. Factory-installed Extreme Heavy-Duty suspension components, including strengthened caster blocks, axle carriers, and steering blocks, provide the strength and durability to handle the most demanding conditions. With a top speed of 35+ mph and fully waterproof electronics throughout, Bandit is equally at home on loose off-road terrain and hard pavement. Three selectable drive profiles on the XL-5 ESC, including a Training Mode that reduces power by 50%, cater to drivers of all experience levels.
Extreme HD Suspension Components
The Bandit arrives factory-fitted with Extreme Heavy-Duty suspension components and arms. The rear axle carriers, C-hubs, and steering blocks are reinforced with more material and stronger construction for ultimate strength and durability.
Includes Battery and Charger
The Bandit comes with a Traxxas Power Cell 8.4-volt 3000 mAh rechargeable NiMH battery pack and an included 45+ watt USB-C battery charger with iD technology. The charger delivers 4-amp fast charging, available virtually anywhere.
Powerful Titan Motor
The Bandit's powerful Titan motor and XL-5 speed control combine to deliver a 35+ mph top speed. An integrated cooling fan draws air into the motor to keep temperatures down. The XL-5 ESC offers smooth, reliable power, EZ-Set one-button setup, and three drive profiles.
Aggressive Body & Wing
The Bandit features a sleek off-road buggy body designed for high-speed passes, arriving fully trimmed and painted with bold graphics. A high-downforce wing is fitted to help the Bandit maintain stability at high speeds.
